Finding your colour code can be a task in its own right.

We have put this information together as a guide to help locate your colour code.

Your Ford colour code will be located on the slam panel under the bonnet or in side the (o/s) doors.

  

Your colour code is located in the second box up from the bottom on the left hand side.

The code normally made up of 2 Numbers or  1 Letter and 1 Number 

If you do struggle we can check your colour code off your vehicle reg number.

Product Advice

Transpares basecoat aerosol formula will dry matt.

This needs protective clear coat like the original OEM process. This will give it the desired gloss, UV & Scratch protection.

The first thing you need to do is to make sure the part you are Painting is clean,

For best results use an automotive panel wipe.

Please make sure any primer is left for about 30-50mins to fully dry,

Use in well ventilated area.

After shaking the aerosol can,

add a very fine coat from about 20 / 30 cm away and then leave to dry for about 3 to 5 minutes,

Then add a further 2 / 3 coats leaving 3 -5 minutes per coat,

The paint will be touch dry within 20 / 30 minutes.

Once the paint is dry apply clearcoat/lacquer  in very fine coats leaving 3-5 minutes between coats

Clearcoat will be  fully hard within 24 hours.

Protective clothing, Gloves and mask should be warn.
