Ford Diamond White Colour Match Aerosol Kit

Finding your colour code can be a task in its own right.

We have put this information together as a guide to help locate your colour code.

Your Ford colour code will be located on the slam panel under the bonnet or in side the (o/s) doors.

Transpares direct gloss aerosol formula will dry with a gloss finish. This needs no extra lacquer or clear coat to be added,

Grey primer 500ml  Aerosol.

The first thing you need to do is to ensure the area you are applying paint to is clean and dry,

For best results use an automotive panel wipe,

After shaking the aerosol can vigorously for 5 minutes spray a very fine coat from about 20 – 30 cm away and then leave to dry for about 3 to 5 minutes

After the first coat add a further 2 – 3 coats leaving about 3 -5 minutes per coat , The primer will be touch dry within 20 – 30 minutes. And will be fully hard within 2-3hours (at 20°c).

Direct Gloss

again use an automotive panel wipe to make sure the panel is clean

Please make sure any primer is left for about 30-50mins to fully dry,

After shaking the aerosol can,

add a very fine coat from about 20 – 30 cm away and then leave to dry for about 3 to 5 minutes,

Then add a further 2 – 3 coats leaving 3 -5 minutes per coat,

The paint will be touch dry within 20 – 30 minutes. And will be fully hard within 24 hours (at 20°c).

For best results leave the paint 24 hours before buffing and polishing. If you feel you require a few more coats lightly sand the top layer with p1500 and repeat these steps until you are happy with the final finish.

Use in well ventilated area.
