Transpares Exact Match Touch Up Paint Kit
The first thing you need to do is make sure the chip or scratch you are touching in is clean, dry and free from rust,
For best results use an automotive panel wipe.
If the chip has started to rust then use a rust treatment first directly on to the rust leaving until dry (the rust will change colour to black) Wipe off any excess with a clean cloth.
Use in well ventilated area.
After shaking up the touch up paint (making sure the lid is on tight)
add a very small amount of paint then leave to dry for about 10 to 15 minutes,
If the chip is deeper then add a further coat leaving for a further 10-15 minutes.
The paint will be touch dry within 60 minutes. And will be fully hard within 24 hours (at 20°c).
Once the paint is dry apply the lacquer in very fine coats leaving 5-10 minutes between
Transpares Exact Match Touch Up Paint Kits are a basecoat formula which will dries matt. This needs a protective clear coat to give it the desired gloss and UV protection
