Soft Edge Tape
The surface to be masked must be clean and dry.
Identify the correct size foam for the jamb configuration to be masked (use the application illustrations on the back of the Soft Edge Foam box for reference)
Apply the Soft Edge Foam Masking Tape to the correct jamb surface shown in the application illustrations.
Avoid stretching the foam during installation.
Make sure the foam is positioned so there is no adhesive exposed when the aperature is closed.
Once applied, run your hand over the entire length of the foam to make sure the adhesive is securely attached.
Close the aperature and make sure the jamb is completely sealed and the foam is positioned correctly to hide the adhesive.
Adjust the foam to the desired height with your finger or a spreader if necessary.
